Registration & Payment
Can I attend just one day?
Yes! Choose a one-day registration or join us for two or three days. Visit Cost & Discounts to compare your options.
Why is the price the same for two or three days?
Our multi-day registration covers either two days or all three at the same price. Choose what works for your schedule—or attend all three to make the most of your experience!
What does registration include?
Registration includes keynotes and workshops on your registered days. You may also visit the exhibit hall on any conference day, even if you are registered for only one day. So if you’re only registered for one day, consider coming back and spending a leisurely day visiting exhibitors.
Are meals, hotel accommodations, and travel included?
No. Please budget separately for meals, lodging, and travel. Review any separately ticketed activities for their specific inclusions.
How can I pay?
We accept credit cards, checks, and purchase orders. Enter your purchase order number when registering.

Why does each attendee need an individual email address?
Each attendee needs an individual email address to receive registration confirmations, conference updates, and important instructions. This also applies when registering a group.

Membership & Groups
Do I have to be a member to attend?
No. Members and non-members are welcome! Current NAEYC members with Ohio AEYC as their affiliate qualify for member registration rates.
Can my whole team use one membership?
No. Membership belongs to the individual, not the program. Each attendee using a member rate must have a qualifying membership.
How does every 6th registration FREE work?
Register your entire group together in one transaction to receive every sixth registration free. Separately submitted registrations do not qualify for this offer. Membership fees are separate and still apply if you add membership for an attendee receiving free registration.
How do I register a group of 15 or more?
Email Laura Richards at admin@oaeyc.org for assistance coordinating your group registration.
Where can I find my membership number?
Sign in to your NAEYC member account to locate your membership information. For help with your membership or Ohio AEYC affiliation, email membership@oaeyc.org.
Sessions & Professional Credit
How and when do I choose my sessions?
Attendees will be able to select their sessions starting in January, 2027. Instructions will be provided to each attendee.
Can I change my session selections?
You will be able to change sessions, if space allows.
What happens if a session is full?
If a session is full, you are welcome to join a wait list or select one of our incredible sessions, prior to the conference. If at the conference, you also welcome to make any changes provided space allows.
How do I receive Ohio Approved Credit?
Enter your OPIN when registering, attend the entire approved session, and follow the conference’s attendance-verification instructions. Additional instructions will be shared before the conference.
Can I earn college credit?
College credit is offered through Ashland University. Visit Professional Credit for the university’s contact and registration information.
Travel & Your Visit
Where is the conference?
The conference takes place at Kalahari Resort & Convention Center, 7000 Kalahari Drive, Sandusky, OH 44870.
Do I have to stay at Kalahari?
No. You may stay at Kalahari, choose another hotel, or commute. Visit Travel & Hotel for lodging options and reservation information.
What should I bring?
We recommend comfortable shoes, a light layer for meeting rooms, something for taking notes, and a charged phone for conference information. Keep your registration confirmation handy and review the final attendee email for any additional instructions.
Accessibility & Accommodations
How do I request a reasonable accommodation?
We welcome requests for reasonable accommodations to support your participation. Email admin@oaeyc.org by February 13, 2027 with your request. Early notice helps us plan. If you need an accommodation after that date, please contact us promptly to discuss if there are options available.
Is a nursing room available?
Yes! The Kalahari Convention Center offers a private and comfortable nursing room.
Cancellations, Substitutions & Policies
What if I can no longer attend?
Conference Registration fees are non-refundable. You may send a substitute or you may request a credit to be applied to the 2027 Ohio Early Childhood Conference. Please note that all credit requests must be made by March 5, 2027. After that date, only substitutions will be accepted and all balance due's will still be collected. All account balances must be paid within 30 days from registration date.
Can I bring children?
The conference is in an adult setting, and children are not allowed in sessions with the exception of nursing infants. We do ask that mothers of nursing infants be considerate of fellow attendees if their child begins to become disruptive. We will also offer a nursing room.
