2023 Student Poster Proposal Submissions
Ohio AEYC would like to invite all students with an academic focus in early childhood education and/or child development to submit a proposal to present at the Ohio Early Childhood Conference.
The presentation format will be a poster session. The purpose of the poster session is to encourage presenters to interact with participants and exchange ideas. Presentations will be given on Saturday, April 22 from 12-2 pm.

Submission Requirements
Every student must be a current member of NAEYC/Ohio AEYC.

Submission Deadlines

Call for student poster proposals opens February 3, 2023, and ends
February 24, 2023

Final decision on selection for presentation by March 15, 2023

Notification of acceptance will be emailed to presenters by March 17, 2023
-
Accepted students must complete conference registration by March 31, 2023
Poster Guidelines
-
Presenters will be provided with an easel to display their poster. All presenters will be required to be at their poster during the entire presentation time.

Presenters will be responsible for sharing their poster content and answering questions from participants on Saturday, April 22 from 12-2 pm

Presenters will receive complimentary full conference registration (Thursday-Saturday)
Submission Guidelines
All proposals must include the following criteria:

A topic that is research - based with citations and references to support your findings (i.e peer reviewed Journals)

Title of the presentation

Names and college/school affiliations of all presenters (no more than 2 students per poster)

Name of Advisor/Instructor
-
A 50-word or less description of the presentation

Two learning objectives that participants will take away with them as a result of attending your presentation

A 250-word explanation of the content that will be presented during the poster presentation (i.e. what information will be shared during the poster session)

All students whose work is accepted for presentation will receive free conference registration and a Certificate of Participation

Discounted High School Student Registration Rates
High school students who are NAEYC/Ohio AEYC members are invited to attend the 2020 Ohio Early Childhood Conference at a reduced rate.
