Mr. Chazz (Chazz Lewis) | Thursday, April 25 | 10:45AM
"The Best Story Ever Stars YOU: Learning Your Role in Guiding Children"
Chazz Lewis’s mission in life is to enjoy the process of becoming the best version of himself and help others do the same. He goes by “Mr.Chazz” to his massive online following, and to his many students and fellow teachers, leaders, and human beings. Having stepped into the classroom in the early days, largely because he needed a job, he discovered a passion for inspiring and understanding and igniting curiosity and possibility in kids. And, he realized, he’d have to buck a lot of systems and do a metric ton of his own learning and reimagining to make it happen.
Along the way, he completed a master’s degree in executive leadership and spent years using his own classrooms as living laboratories, developing a more conscious, informed, joyful and dignity-driven and inspired approach to learning, leading, and elevating others. His philosophy began to find relevance far beyond the classroom and has found a home everywhere from parenting to education, personal development, and organizational leadership.
Mr. Chazz shares his ideas in a fun, playful, and accessible way, training thousands of teachers, and with his giant following on Tiktok and Instagram.

The Power of BELONGing
The Power of BELONGing combine American Sign Language (ASL) with song and shares William's inspirational story of growing up in a deaf household, discovering music, and celebrating the massive impact that one teacher had on his life. He also introduces how ASL in the classroom can create a new and effective way for educators to communicate with their students
Each and every person deserves a place be accepted and loved unconditionally. Our schools and classrooms should be the pinnacle of BELONGing by creating safe and loving spaces for our students to learn, grow, and thrive.
-
BELONGing is a fundamental human need. It’s part of our design.
-
Equity, access, language, and community are all essential for creating a sense of BELONGing.
-
Our words and actions can have a forever impact on students.
William’s message is the perfect way to close the conference! Leave motivated, inspired, and reminded of the power you have in children’s lives. Your educators will never forget it!
